Can a POA close out an account without the primary member's signature/authorization?

A Power-of-Attorney (POA) can close an account on behalf of the primary member only if the POA documents specifically grant that authority.  We must review the POA documents to confirm the powers it provides.

Review the POA documents carefully.  If you are unsure about the authority granted, contact your Lead or Branch Manager for guidance.
