No, you no longer need to call back office to verify a mobile deposit.
If you receive a check that appears to have been attempted as a mobile deposit, review the member's account history from the date the check was written and search for a matching deposit (Tip: Use Ctrl+F to quickly search for the amount).
If you do not see a mobile deposit for that check, you may proceed with accepting the check
If you scan your batch of checks at the end of the night and get an error that there is a duplicate check, follow the procedures to removing the check from your batch and reverse the funds off the member's account.
