Escheat means that we must send your account balance to the State Division of Land. These laws exist so that financial institutions may not claim property from those who have died or abandoned accounts. Owners may reclaim property that is escheated to their State.

Funds will be sent to the state that the member is currently residing in. 

For Oregonians they can head to https://unclaimed.oregon.gov/ to claim their escheated funds.
