What to do when there is an OFAC match

  1. Login to Lexis Nexis bridger.lexisnexis.com

2. Once the page loads, in the upper left corner, click SEARCH

If the member is new and does not have an account established at OCU:

Click Search, then click Watch List. This will run OFAC but doesn’t require the account number field like the OFAC selection does.

If you are running OFAC on a current member:

Click Search, then select OFAC, this will require the account number to be entered.

You will now be able to choose the entity type, between Individual or Business and choose accordingly.

After selecting the appropriate entity type, fill in the fields with the corresponding information you have (first name, last name, SSN, date of birth, address)

Once you have the information entered into the according fields, click SEARCH in the lower right corner.

If there are no matches you will see the following pop up:

If there is a potential match, Lexis Nexis will take you to the next page to review and confirm if there are any true matches. **Pay close attention to the aliases as well**.

Click Print report on the pop-up window and select Screening List Report and then click DOWNLOAD.
