First you want to locate the account the loan was/is on to see if they have an active loan or a paid off loan with us. If they are currently paying on the loan do not fill out the lien satisfaction form.

You will search the last 4 of the VIN number, this will be helpful in the event the loan is under a different membership. 

If they had the loan with us and it is paid off then you will proceed to complete the lien satisfaction form. 

If you have searched the VIN and nothing pops up it could be that the loan is so old the system does not have record of it any longer. You can still complete a lien satisfaction form these situations as there is no harm because we do not have an active loan on the vehicle.

Print out the DMV Lien Satisfaction Form

Go to Laserfiche 

Search the member number to locate the title

Fill out the information on the title to the form

Stamp the document and sign

The member will then take the Lien Satisfaction to the DMV.
