What types of loans can members make advances from?

There are only a couple of loan types available for advances in the branch. They are: Line of Credit (LOC), Credit Card and HELOCs

There many types of loans that are not eligible to make advances from. They are: Autos/Boats/RVs, Share Secured, Home Equity/Balloon, Signature/Unsecured or Overdraft Lines of Credit.

Suffixes OK to advance from if limit is available:

5100+ - HELOC

5200+ - Line of Credit/LOC

9200+ - Credit Card


Suffixes NOT OK to advance from:

 6100+ - Used Auto 

6000+ - New Auto

6100+ - Used Auto

6200+ - CUDL New Auto

6300+ - CUDL Used Auto

6400+ - New/Used Boat/RV/Motorcycle

6700+ - Share Secured

6800+ - Unsecured/Signature

8100+ - Home Equity

8200+ - Balloon/Call Home Equity

8300+ - Home Equity

5016+ - Overdraft O/D LOC – must only be used by way of overdraft protection

If you see any of the above type of loan with an “available” balance (except for OD LOC), please contact a loan officer or a branch manager. The limit likely needs to be removed.
