What are the steps when paying off a Mortgage?

Below is a list of the service requests that should be put in as a task request:

MC Loan Payoff:

  • Send task to Mortgage Services- Loan Payoff
  • If payoff received from a Title Company, scan all documents including the check and attach to the task.
  • Include amount of payoff check or transfer in task information.
  • if requesting Payoff Quote, include in title of task and include the following details: When loan will be paid off (good through date), delivery method (to staff or member, email, mail, fax, etc.), if request is from a third party, attach documents to task.

Mortgage Automatic Payment:

  • Send task to Mortgage Services- Automatic Payments
  • Include Mortgage Auto Pay Agreement Form (found in SharePoint under the mortgage tab).
  • Include voided check if coming from another institution.
  • Make sure correct suffix is included if coming from member's OCU account.

Insurance Documents related to MC Loans:

  • Make sure the documents are related to a First Mortgage/MC Loan, suffixes 8990-8999
  • Send task to Mortgage Services- Insurance
  • Scan insurance documents related to MC loans and attach to task
  • Priority can be changed to medium if it is a cancellation or member requested same-day updated

Other:

  • Requests for mortgage statement- include delivery method (to staff, to member, email, mail, etc.)
  • General questions that do not require immediate attention
  • Research questions
  • Escrow deficit/payment/change questions
