MyGlue – Internal – Chrome Extension Setup

i. Verify MyGlue Extension has been added to Chrome

Note: IT has setup policies to install and enable MyGlue Extension on Chrome.

If it is not there, contact IT x8111.

ii. Verify when Chrome opened, the site https://app.myglue.com/ opened.’

Note: IT has setup policies to include this site by default when Chrome opens.

If not, contact IT x8111.

You will need to the following at the start of each day and if you logoff and logon.

1. Click the MyGlue tab, enter your work email address and click Next.

2. Enter the MyGlue Indentifier oregonianscu, click Next.

Now, you are logged in, continue to next page to setup your preferences.

1. Click on the MyGlue Extension icon 

2. Click on Settings

5. You can make it easier to create passwords, by switching “Password Auto Create” to “ON”.  It is NOT recommended to turn on “Auto Fill” as it has been found that this can cause issues with fields after logging in. You can exit the Settings by click anywhere on the screen.

You are all set to use MyGlue with Chrome.

MyGlue Chrome – Adding Passwords

When you have a login on a page the MyGlue icon will show in the password field.

Example:

1. To add a password, click on the MyGlue icon and select Create Password

2. Enter your current password in the password field, a Name for the password in the Name field and your username in the Username field. Then click Fill and Save Password.

Note: You can also select an optional category and add Notes. Notes are a good place to have a support number/email, reference number such as account number and answers to challenge questions.

Note: CUnify has an error when the password fills but you click OK and it works.

3. Your username and password will show as enter and you click the login or other similar button.

Next time, you access the site to login, MyGlue will Auto-Fill if you have enable that setting. 

If Auto Fill is NOT enable, you click the MyGlue icon in the password field and select the password to use to login.
