How to Setup and Send a Remote Override

How to set up email override. 

 

Go to Outlook New Email Signatures Signatures again Select New Name: Remote Override copy and paste this belowSaveOk

 

 

Cut and paste into the subject line Remote Override (Enter the amount of override) 

 

  • Extension: (Your phone extension- you should have this setup to autofill)

 

  • Account Number: (The member number you're transacting for)

 

  • Opening of Membership: (You can find this in 2 places. Under "Demographics" and "Account Open Date" or click on the Share Suffix and see "Suffix opening date") You must use shares. Checking accounts are not required at opening of membership.

 

  • Relationship (Types of accounts): What types of accounts do they have with us? (Shares, Money Market, HELOC, etc.)

 

  • Negative Balance History in last 90 days: Click on the checking suffix if applicable, if not, click on the Shares suffix. Click on the tab that says "Monthly Items" and see if there is a number in the NSF History 1/2/3 section. If so, notate that in the override. If none, put 0 or N/A.

 

  • Brief Description of Transaction: This should be short, but include all pertinent information. For example- "Mailed in check deposit for full payoff of 6300 loan" or "Member requested a check withdrawal made payable to themselves." or "Large check deposit, unusual activity. Pledging check for 5 business days."

(Please include $ amounts) 

 

 

Go to the O:Drive → Click on Help→ Open:

 

 

 

Delete everything in the body of the email→ Select Signatures at the top→ Select “Remote Override” Signature and fill in all fields.

 

(Don’t forget to fill in the subject line “Remote Override” “(Enter the amount of the override)”

 

Once you receive the “Got it” reply you can then "Reply" to that person and paste the code into an email to them.

 

This will give the person who is doing the override a better idea of the transaction.
